The Colorado 14ers advanced to the NBA Development League Finals for the second time in three seasons with a 114-111 win over the Austin Toros on Saturday night. Colorado awaits the winner of tonight's Dakota - Utah game in Orem, Utah in the best of three D-League Finals.

LAST WEEK'S GAMES

April 14 vs. Erie BayHawks - The top-seeded 14ers took the opening game of the 2009 NBA Development League playoffs with a 129-108 win over the Erie BayHawks in Broomfield. After Erie's Maurice Rice opened the game with a lay-up, Colorado countered with a Billy Thomas 3-pointer and never trailed again. Seven 14ers scored in double figures, led by 33 points from Josh Davis on the night. Dominique Coleman added 19 with 13 rebounds, five assists, and five steals and the point guard tandem of Eddie Gill and John Lucas combined for 32 points and eight assists in the win.

April 18 vs. Austin Toros - Colorado overcame an 11 point fourth quarter deficit to take a 114-111 win over the Austin Toros in the NBA Development League semi-finals at the Broomfield Event Center. The 14ers finished the game on a 23-10 run in the final 7:45 to advance to the D-League Finals for the second time in three seasons. Denver Nuggets assigned player Sonny Weems led the Colorado comeback, scoring 14 of his team-high 27 points in the fourth quarter. Weems tied the game at 103 with a 3-pointer from the right corner with 5:32 to play, and gave the 14ers the lead for good on a fast break dunk with 4:36 remaining. He then connected on four free throws in the final 15 seconds to ice the win for Colorado.

* The 14ers topped the Power Rankings on www.nba.com/dleague for the final six weeks of the regular season.

* Colorado set a new franchise record with 34 wins in the regular season.

* The 14ers have qualified for the D-League playoffs in each of the three seasons the team has existed, reaching the finals twice.

* Colorado's all-time playoff record now stands at 4-2.

* The 14ers set new D-League records this season by scoring 52 points in a quarter, 155 in a game, and making 60 field goals in a game.

* The 14ers also set D-League season highs with 16 made 3-pointers in a game (twice), and 23 steals in one game.

* Billy Thomas has connected on 65 3-pointers this season, and is the D-League leader for career three pointers made with 328.

* The 14ers led the D-League in scoring for the third consecutive year averaging 118.9 points per game.

* Colorado also led the league in per game averages for field goals made and attempted, three pointers made and attempted, offensive rebounds, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots.

* Dominique Coleman led the D-League with 2.9 steals per game.

* Josh Davis finished 12th in the league in scoring at 18.8 ppg, and ranked fifth with a .872 free throw percentage, and was third with 2.3 made 3-pointers per game.

* Davis and Trey Gilder both finished in the top 8 in the D-League in points per 48 minutes played.

* Joe Dabbert was eighth in the league with 1.3 blocks per game.

* Eddie Gill's 8.4 assists per game tied for third in the D-League.

* Colorado compiled the D-League's best record despite not having any player in the top 27 in minutes per game.
