
Colorado 14ers Set to Host First Round Playoff Game April 18th

DENVER - The Colorado 14ers will host a first round playoff game on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:05 p.m. MT, the NBA Development League announced today. In addition to home court advantage in the first round, the 14ers clinched the second seed in the D-League's Western Division. Colorado's first round opponent has yet to be determined.

NBA Development League playoffs are a single elimination format consisting of the top 3 teams from the Western and Eastern divisions. Seeds two and three play each other, with the winner advancing to play the top seeds from each division. The winner of the division playoff games will play one game for the D-League championship. The highest seed remaining for each match-up is the home team.
The 14ers' final two regular season games are at home this Friday, April 13 against Albuquerque and on the road Saturday, April 14 at Bakersfield. Fans can listen to all Colorado 14ers basketball games on AM 1510 KCKK, AM 1570 KSXT, and online at www.nba.com/dleague.
The D-League continues to develop talent from across all disciplines for the NBA's 30 teams and the entire NBA umbrella. In addition to the assignment of 24 players to D-League affiliates, there have also been 20 GATORADE Call-Ups from the D-League to the NBA this season. Additionally, every referee hired by the NBA since 2002 has worked in the D-League, while coaches, athletic trainers and front office executives are also being developed.
