The Hartford Colonials signed running back Tory Harrison and assigned him to the 52-man roster. He practiced with the team Thursday in Las Vegas.

Harrison (6-1, 203) played at Southern Mississippi and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Packers last April. He signed with the Colonials on Aug. 22 and participated in training camp.

Hartford also placed defensive back Trevor Ford on the suspended-reserve list. He will not play Saturday, Oct. 30, when the Colonials take on the Sacramento Mountain Lions at Hornet Stadium. The kickoff is 11 pm.
