
Colonials Sign Connecticut Native

Hartford Colonials News Release
The Hartford Colonials signed offensive lineman Cliff Louis, a Connecticut native who grew up in Stamford. He practiced with the team Wednesday.
Louis (6-8, 315) was a member of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad before being released Sept. 17. He has also been on the practice squad or in camp with the Giants, Lions, Cardinals, Jaguars and Browns.
Louis was on the Giants practice squad in 2008 when Colonials Head Coach Chris Palmer was New York Quarterbacks Coach. He was with the UFL's Florida Tuskers last year.
Louis, 26, attended Westhill High School in Stamford and played at Morgan State University, where he was named to the All-MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Second Team as a senior in 2006.
The Colonials play Friday, Sept. 25, at Omaha. Kickoff is 8 pm.
