Collis Moving on Up

October 14, 2014 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF)
San Angelo Bandits News Release

Former San Angelo Bandit Quarterback Luke Collis, who led the Bandits to the LSFL championship with 88 touchdowns against 7 interceptions with a 63% completion rate, was signed by the Tampa Bay Storm in the first day of the free-agent signing period.

Former San Angelo  Bandit Coach Joe Brannen, now the head coach of the Iowa Barnstormers, said "Luke is the ultimate- he prepares better than any QB I've ever been around."

"Luke is a quarterback that can find ways to score on the opposition," said Jeff Gooch, Vice President of Football Operations. "We expect that he will go out and compete and bring professionalism to the locker room."

Randy Sanders Owner of the San Angelo Bandits said "This is what our league is all about, giving good athletes the opportunity to move up and fulfill their goals." The San Angelo Bandits will miss Luke's abilities but wish him well in all his endeavors.
