
Cody Gylling Named South Division Player of the Week

AMARILLO, TX - Amarillo Bulls forward Cody Gylling was rewarded for his exceptional play over the weekend as his club took four points from the Topeka RoadRunners.
Gylling was chose as the South Division Star Of The Week.
the Bulls have now won six in a row and sit in 2nd place in the South Division. Newcomer Cody Gylling, 19, has made his mark with the Bulls since arriving in Amarillo a few weeks ago via a trade with Johnstown.
This weekend was a perfect example for the native of Chandler, Arizona as he scored two goals and added two assists and was a +2 in the two wins. On Friday, Gylling (5'9/175) had the game-winning goal and an assist in a 4-0 shutout win.
On Saturday, Gylling scored again and assisted on the game-winning goal in a 4-3 win. Since joining the Bulls, Gylling has eight points in six games played.
"Cody has fit in great with the team. He manages the puck well, but best of all is his play-making ability," said Bulls head coach Dennis Williams. "He is a proven goal-scorer in this league and that is hard to come by so we feel fortunate to have a player of his ability and talent."
It a special weekend of hockey and raising money for a good cause at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Fans are encouraged to come out for Face Off Against Cancer as the Amarillo Bulls host the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday night.
Fans can get two Silver Level Tickets for just $18 or two Red Level Tickets for $24.
On Saturday it's Pink In The Rink in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Bulls will wear special pink jerseys and an auction follows immediately after the game with proceeds to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Tickets available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket outlets including United Supermarkets.
