
Clearwater Drops Final Home Game of 2021

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Clearwater Threshers were blanked by the Bradenton Marauders during the final home game of the season at BayCare Ballpark on Sunday afternoon.
Three Threshers collected hits in Sunday's game; Rixon Wingrove, Jamari Baylor, and Logan Cerny all had singles for Clearwater. Logan Cerny made his Clearwater debut and went 1-for-3 with a single and a walk.
Bradenton scored four runs on 10 hits in the shutout.
Starting pitcher Cristian Hernandez was on the hook for the loss. He scattered 3 hits over five innings, gave up one run, walked two, and struck out three batters.
Clearwater will play their final series of the 2021 season against the Dunedin Blue Jays at TD Ballpark September 14-19.
