Wausau, WI - The Wisconsin Woodchucks (29-35, 16-13 Second Half) fell to the Battle Creek Bombers (35-29, 17-11 Second Half), 12-3, Saturday at Athletic Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Connor Heady (Kentucky) connected on his seventh homer of the year, tying him for second on the team, in the fifth inning. He also picked up an RBI double walked.
Chad Fleischman (Lamar) reached base twice with a double, and Stevie Mangrum (Virginia Tech) was aboard three times. Steele Walker (Oklahoma) extended his league-leading on-base streak to 38 games.
Alex Lewandowski (Northwood) threw two perfect innings of relief, striking out four without allowing a baserunner.
