Wausau, WI - The Wisconsin Woodchucks (29-34, 16-12 Second Half) trail the Battle Creek Bombers (34-29, 16-11 Second Half), 12-2, in the eighth inning Saturday at Athletic Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Connor Heady (Kentucky) connected on his seventh homer of the year, tying him for second on the team, in the fifth inning. He's also picked up an RBI double walked.

Chad Fleischman (Lamar) has reached base twice with a double, and Stevie Mangrum (Virginia Tech) has been aboard three times.

Alex Lewandowski (Northwood) threw two perfect innings of relief, striking out four without allowing a baserunner.

Andy Dodson (Cornell College) is set up to take the loss. The 'Chucks are back at Athletic Park tomorrow (Sunday, August 7th) to play the second of this two-game set against Battle Creek and the final of the six-game homestand.
