PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC midfielder Christine Sinclair was named to the Canada Women's National Team roster ahead of a pair of friendlies in Europe on April 9 against Wales and England on April 13.
Sinclair (296 caps, 186 goals) was unavailable for the 2021 SheBelieves Cup. In 2020, the Canadian captain appeared in seven matches (all starts), recording three goals. Sinclair last featured for Canada in a 2-2 draw against Brazil on March 10, 2020.
