Christian Earns Player of Week Award

Tulsa Oilers right winger Jeff Christian has earned the Oakley/Central Hockey League Player of the week Award for the week ending February 16^th . It is the second time this season, Christian has earned the honor.

The Oilers leading scorer had eight points in three Oiler games last week. The Oilers earned standings point in all three games last week, their longest stretch of the season, earning points.

The 6-foot-2, 210 pound team captain had one goal and two assists in the Oilers 5-4 shootout loss to Wichita on Tuesday. He was held off the scoresheet in a 4-3 shootout loss at Bossier-Shreveport, but rebounded in a big way, with five points on two goals and three assists in the Oilers 6-0 win at Wichita on Saturday.

Christian, now with 24 goals and 40 assists for 64 points on the season also was the CHL/Oakley player of the week for the week ending November 30^th . He and the rest of the Oilers host the expansion Rapid City Rush Friday and Saturday at the Bok Center with each game starting at 7:35 p.m.
