
CHL Names Mike Sarter Manager of Hockey Administration

GLENDALE, AZ (November 9, 2012) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Mike Sarter has been named the league's new Manager of Hockey Administration. The new addition to the CHL office has already begun his duties.
"The Central Hockey League's Hockey Operations Department is extremely fortunate to have acquired the talents of Mike Sarter," said Jim Wiley, CHL Director of Hockey Operations. "Mike has significant knowledge in hockey as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. We look forward to the utilization of Mike's expertise in our continued pursuit of excellence."
Sarter has been part of the hockey world for more than a decade as the Phoenix native began officiating games 13 years ago. For the past six seasons, Sarter has worked in the CHL as a linesman and has also officiated in the past for the ECHL.
Prior to joining the league office, Sarter worked in Business Administration for the University of Phoenix where he was studying communications specializing in marketing and sales communication.
