NAPA Draft Prospects of the Month

Western Hockey League

Karl Alzner, Calgary Hitmen

Ontario Hockey League

Patrick Kane, London Knights

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

Raffaele D'Orso, Val-d'Or Foreurs

Karl Alzner has been a major factor on the Calgary Hitmen powerplay this season and is a big reason why the Hitmen are ranked third in the WHL standings. The big blue liner had 12 points in 12 games last month for the Hitmen and currently sits amongst the top 10 scoring defencemen in the WHL with 27 points in 32 games. Patrick Kane of the London Knights scored nine goals and had 25 points in just 11 games during the month of November while leading the Knights to an 8-1-1-1 record. The native of Buffalo, New York is currently the top scorer in the OHL with 60 points in 28 games. Raffaele D'Orso is a big reason why the Val-d'Or Foreurs are a force in the QMJHL this season. D'Orso was 6-1 over the course of November while posting a 2.56 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. With D'Orso's strong play between the pipes, the Foreurs have been a staple in the CHL Top 10 this season.
