Chinooks on four-game winning streak

Portland, Oregon. The Portland Chinooks are 10 -7 and on a 4-game winning streak following their victory over the Vancouver Volcanoes on Thursday night, beating the Volcanoes 123-101.

The Volcanoes were unable to stop the offensive and defensive play of Chinooks center Lincoln Smith, the 16th leading scorer in the IBL, who was the leading scorer of the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Terrance Green (10th leading scorer in the IBL) and Kenny Tate added 22 points and 21 points, respectively. The Chinooks beat the Volcanoes by 22 points after starters Robert Day and Byron Johnson signed with Algodoneros of the Mexican - LNPB league in Torreon, Mexico.

The Chinooks play the Central Oregon Hotshots in Bend, Oregon tonight at 7:30 p.m. and are back at Clark Community College on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. against the Vancouver Volcanoes.
