Spokane Chiefs News Release
SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced today the signing of Jaret Anderson-Dolan, the club's first round (14th overall) selection in last month's 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
"The signing of Jaret is a huge step toward our future success," said Chiefs' Director of Player Personnel Chris Moulton. "Not only is he a great player, his character and commitment to winning are the exact traits we look for when it comes to our future players.
"His ability to make players around him better makes him particularly invaluable moving forward."
Anderson-Dolan, a 5'10" forward from Calgary, Alberta, scored 79 goals and 126 points in 59 games with the Calgary Edge Mountaineers last season. He followed that with 3 goals and 6 points in 5 games during the annual Alberta Cup tournament, playing for Team South.
As a 15-year-old next season, Anderson-Dolan will be ineligible to play full-time for the Chiefs. He will be eligible to join the roster full-time for the 2015-16 WHL season.
"We are very excited to have Jaret committed and a part of our organization," added Chiefs' General Manager Tim Speltz. "Jaret is a complete player and a special person with his preparation and dedication to being successful. We look forward to him being a Chief and representing the city of Spokane."
Season ticket packages for the 2014-15 season are on sale now. Visit the Chiefs' Ticket Office in-person or call an account executive at (509) 535-PUCK for more information.
