Chiefs Individual Tickets On Sale Monday

PEORIA, IL- The Peoria Chiefs have announced that 2009 single game tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Monday March 2 at 10:00 am.
Tickets are available in three methods: At the O'Brien Field Box Office from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; online at www.peoriachiefs.com; and through Ticket Return's toll free number at 1-866-MYTICKET from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Tickets will remain available nonstop over the internet while the Box Office will be open from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm every weekday until the season ends and over the Ticket Return number from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm all season.
Ticket prices remain the same as in 2008: $10 for Club Box Seats, $9 for Box Seats and $6 for Lawn Seats. On fireworks nights, all Box and Club Box Seats will be $10. There is also a $5 upcharge to every ticket on Saturday July 11 due to the post-game Christian Concert by Matthew West.
For the first time since 2003, the Chiefs will open the regular season at home. The opener is set for Thursday April 9 at 6:30 PM against the Kane County Cougars. The game kicks off a six-game, seven-day homestand and the first 1500 fans on each night of the opening weekend will receive a 2009 Chiefs Magnet Schedule. After a three game series with Kane County, the Midwest League has an off day for Easter Sunday before the Chiefs welcome in the Dayton Dragons for three games April 13-15.

Season ticket packages for the 2009 season are currently on sale. Ticket packages include 70-game package, 35-game package, 17-game Build Your Own package, a new 12-game Fireworks package, a new 12-game anytime pass and two separate six-game packages. Group tickets are also on sale for all O'Brien Field party areas and the seating bowl for all 70 home games.
