Chiefs Crush Atlantic City

Johnstown, PA- Dmitri Tarabrin had two goals and an assist to lead the Johnstown Chiefs to a 5-1 win over the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, Sunday afternoon at the War Memorial. The Chiefs have won four straight games and are unbeaten in their last five (4-0-1).

Vladimir Nemec, Sam St. Pierre and Dominic Forget also scored for the Chiefs. Luke Curtin scored for the Boardwalk Bullies, when he took a shot that deflected off Chiefs defenseman Ian Manzano's foot and past Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry.

Aubry made 25 saves for his 20th win of the season, while Bullies goaltender Matt Yeats made 26 saves in the defeat.

The Chiefs improve to 25-29-9 on the season, while Atlantic City falls to 36-14-12.

The Chiefs hit the road Tuesday night when they play at Cincinnati (7:00 p.m.). Friday night they return home to play Atlantic City, and Saturday night the Chiefs host the Trenton Titans. Both games are at 7:30 p.m. Friday night is Charter Communications Night. Fans that bring in their most recent Charter Communications bill, will be eligible for $2 off per ticket they purchase for the game. Saturday night is Fox 8/ABC 23 puck night. The first 1,000 people will receive a Johnstown Chiefs puck, courtesy of Fox 8/ABC 23, Vittone Eye Surgeons, and EM's Subs.
