Chiefs Announce 2020 Fireworks Dates

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced that 22 games in the 2020 season will feature the popular post-game fireworks shows from Central State Fireworks. Starting Saturday, May 2, every Saturday home game and nearly every Friday home game will feature fireworks, plus a few additional dates as well.

The 22 fireworks show for 2020 are all following 6:35 p.m. games except for the 5:05 p.m. start on Saturday, July 4. Of the 22 shows there are six in May, three in June, six in July, five in August and two in September. Of those shows, nine will be on Saturday (May 2, May 16, May 30, June 20, July 4, July 11, July 25, August 8, August 15 and September 5), eight will be on Friday (May 15, May 22, May 29, June 19, July 10, August 7, August 14 and September 4), three on Thursday (June 4, July 23 and August 27) and one show on Sunday, July 26.

The giveaways, including bobbleheads, other promotions, jersey auctions and theme nights that go with the fireworks shows will be announced later in the off-season. The first fireworks show of the season on Saturday, May 2 features the Chiefs hosting the South Bend Cubs at 6:35 p.m. in that organizations first visit to Dozer Park since the 2018 season.

Season ticket packages and group tickets for the 2020 season are currently on sale by calling 309-680-4000. The 2020 season kicks off April 9 in Davenport, Iowa with the home opener against the Beloit Snappers set for Monday, April 13 at 6:35 p.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale in early March.
