Syracuse Mets News Release
Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce a partnership with the Syracuse Crunch for this upcoming Friday, April 12. After the Chiefs' home opener, a 2:00 game vs. Lehigh Valley, one Chiefs player will drop the ceremonial first puck at the Crunch's 7:30 game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. In addition, fans can receive a special discounted ticket at the Crunch game. By simply showing a ticket from the Chiefs' home opener at the Crunch box office, fans can purchase a discounted $16 ticket for that evening's hockey game.
"We are glad to continue our partnership with the Syracuse Crunch", said Chiefs general manager John Simone. "The relationship between our two franchises allows fans in Syracuse to experience the thrills of both a home opener and a playoff race on the same day."
Tickets are still available for Syracuse's Friday home opener as well as all Chiefs games this season. Fans can purchase tickets online at syracusechiefs.com, by calling 315-474-7833 or in person at the Chiefs ticket office. Full- and partial-season ticket plans are also available through each of the same three methods.
