The Chico Outlaws broke a 3-3 tie in the 8th inning on a wild pitch that scored Daniel Nava to win 4-3 over the Orange County Flyers at Nettleton Stadium.
Chico took the three-game series by winning the rubber match and dropped the Flyers back to .500 at 36-36 and 17-17 in the second half.
Reed Dickert pitched into the 7th inning and struck out six, which sets his league-leading mark at 111 for the season.
Nick Singleton pitched well for the Outlaws, but both starters received a no-decision.
The Flyers tied the game at 3-3 with a Charlie Douglas solo blast, his first homerun of the season.
Chico got solo homeruns from Jesse Kovacs and Todd Gossage.
Peanut Williams extended his streak of reaching base safely to 47 consecutive games.
The Flyers will begin their last series of the season with the Reno Silver Sox Thursday at 7:05 on KWRM 1370 AM and orangecountyflyers.com.
