Chico Outlaws News Release
CHICO, Calif.- The Chico Outlaws will be helping local non-profits raise money through their fundraising programs. Churches, sports teams, charities, schools and other local organizations are welcome to start fundraising with the Outlaws now for the upcoming 2009 baseball season.
Outlaws General Manager, Curt Jacey, is eager to start helping out the community. "In these tough economic times we are striving to be a resource to as many non-profits as possible. The Outlaws have raised over a hundred thousand dollars for a variety of organizations in our community and provided another hundred thousand of in kind donations in the past and look forward to doing it again this year."
The fundraising program involves selling ticket vouchers good for any Outlaws baseball home game. Fifty percent of all proceeds will go directly to the local non-profit organization.
