Chicago Storm Signs Midfielder Sandre Naumoski

Chicago (Tuesday, September 14, 2004) - The Chicago Storm of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced today that the team has signed midfielder Sandre Naumoski (pronounced: saan-DRAY NO-mo-SKEE). The second selection of the 2004 Expansion Draft becomes the third player in Storm history as he signed a muti-year contract with the "Yellow and Black." Per league policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"We are very happy to have signed Sandre," said Storm Head Coach and General Manager Frank Klopas. "He is a young player with a lot of potential and we are excited about the talent and competitiveness he will be able to bring to our team."

In his first season in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), Naumoski tallied nine goals and six assists for 15 points for the Kansas City Comets. Prior to playing in the MISL, the 24-year-old midfielder attended Southern Nazarene University where he earned First Team All-Conference during his senior year. The Skopje, Macedonia native, nicknamed "Sonny", holds a green card.

"I am really looking forward to playing for Frank Klopas and the Storm," said Naumoski. "I believe that this is the right place for me to play and I will give my best to contribute towards the success of the team. I love the coaches, the players and the staff of the organization."

Chicago Storm season ticket packages are priced at $190, $240, $340 and $400. Packages include an inaugural team autographed soccer ball, discounted parking, exclusive pre-season practice with the team, a mid-season autograph session with the team, ticket redemption for unused tickets, 20% discount on merchandise through the Storm, the first opportunity to purchase playoff tickets, and much more.

Formed on June 3, 2004, the Chicago Storm becomes the ninth team in the MISL, joining the two-time defending champion Baltimore Blast, Cleveland Force, Kansas City Comets, Milwaukee Wave, Monterrey Fury (Mexico), Philadelphia Kixx, St. Louis Steamers and San Diego Sockers.
