
Chicago Storm Places Ted Chronopoulos and Costea Decu on 15-Day DL

Chicago, IL (Friday, January 7, 2005) â The Chicago Storm of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced today that the team has placed defenders Ted Chronopoulos and Costea Decu on the 15-day disabled list. Both players will be unavailable to play until January 23 when the Storm hosts the Milwaukee Wave at the UIC Pavilion.
Chronopoulos suffered a zygomatic arch fracture on December 18, 2005, in a 9-8 overtime loss at Kansas City. The 32-year-old defender collided with a Kansas City player along the midfield boards and was elbowed along the right side of his face.
Decu, 33, suffered a stress fracture in his left leg during training on Wednesday. He is scheduled to wear a cast for three weeks and is expected to miss eight weeks of action.
