
Chicago Slaughter Hit The Road To Face The Green Bay Blizzard

CHICAGO -The Chicago Slaughter (3-4), the premier indoor football team in the Chicagoland area, will hit the road this weekend for their first of three meetings scheduled for the 2010 season with fierce division rivals the Green Bay Blizzard (7-1). Coming off of last Friday's upset loss to the La Crosse Spartans (1-7), the Slaughter has spent the past week refocusing their efforts as they look to pull back to .500 this Saturday night in Green Bay;the Blizzard are coming off of a bye week.
Football fans are well aware of the Packers/Bears rivalry, which is the longest running one in the NFL. With the Slaughter currently in second place behind the Green Bay Blizzard in the IFL Central North Division, this weekend's match-up has set the stage to build on the contentious rivalry between these two football powerhouse cities. Kick off for this weekend's road game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 8th at the Online Trading Academy Field in the Resch Center.
