CHICAGO (April 12, 2011) - The Chicago Rush announced today the 2011 television broadcast team which will feature play-by-play announcer Mike Adamle as well as color analysts Doug Buffone and Ed O'Bradovich.

"You could not ask for a better team to broadcast our Rush games this year," said Chicago Rush President and GM, Gene Nudo. "This broadcast team is not only extremely knowledgeable of the intricacies of the AFL, but they are entertaining and fun to listen to."

Veteran broadcaster, Mike Adamle, will handle the play-by-play duties for the Rush. Adamle who is currently a sports anchor at WMAQ-TV in Chicago has a deep-rooted connection to Chicago sports. After playing football at Northwestern University, he went on to have a successful seven year career in the NFL (1971-1977). "I am excited to be a part of the Rush broadcast team in 2011," said Adamle. "I have been around the '50-yard indoor war' for a long time, and have had the opportunity to see many great players come through the AFL. It is great to be back in the action."

Longtime broadcast partners Doug Buffone and Ed O'Bradovich will provide the color analysis for Rush broadcasts. Buffone played 14 seasons as linebacker with the Chicago Bears, and was an inaugural member of the Arena Football League office in 1987 -1988.
