Chicago Rush Announce 2011 Roster

CHICAGO (March 10, 2011) - The Chicago Rush are excited to announce the completed roster for the upcoming 2011 season. The Rush coaching staff completed final cuts on Saturday in preparation for the season opener against the Milwaukee Mustangs on Monday, March 14th.
"Our players have worked hard this camp and are building a strong camaraderie all ready," said Rush Head Coach, Bob McMillen. "The team is dialed in and excited for the season to start."
Russ Michna (6'3", 220, W. Illinois) returns for his third season at quarterback for the Chicago Rush. A familiar target down field for Michna will be his college teammate and wide receiver, Reggie Gray (5'10", 175, W. Illinois). Additionally, three-year AFL veteran offensive lineman, TJ Watkins (6'7", 325, Georgia) will bring experience to the front line.
The defensive front will feature linemen Quartez Vickerson (6'5", 305, Grand Valley State), Joe Clermond (6'3", 265, Pittsburgh) and defensive tackle Mark Weivoda (6'2", 290, Idaho St). While defensive back, Perry Kyles (5'11", 195, Tennessee Tech) will lead the secondary.
