
Chicago Fire Luncheon Raises $62,000 For Chicago Fire Foundation

CHICAGO, IL (March 31, 2009) - Chicago Fire Soccer is proud to announce that the 2009 Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon raised $62,000 with proceeds benefiting the team's charitable arm, the Chicago Fire Foundation. Over 700 guests attended the Fire's annual event, contributing to the success of the day. Fans in attendance enjoyed an exclusive screening of the special video "Jim Belushi on the Pitch".
"The goal of the Chicago Fire is to win championships while enriching the lives of our fellow Chicagoans in the process," said Chicago Fire President Dave Greeley. "Thank you to all of the Fire fans that made this event such a success."

Through grants and contributions to non-profit organizations, the Chicago Fire Foundation is dedicated to enriching the quality of life of the Chicagoland community, particularly its youth.
