Chicago Fire FC Acquires $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Philadelphia Union

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has acquired $50,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money from the Philadelphia Union. In exchange, the Union will receive the No. 1 position in the MLS Waiver Order for the Waiver claiming period, which began on June 14.

The Fire will return to league play this Saturday after a three-week international break, hosting D.C. United at Soldier Field. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast nationally on UniMás, TUDN and Twitter (English-language audio). It will also be transmitted locally in Spanish on Univision Radio.
