
Chicago Fire Academy Teams Ready to Kick off USSDA Playoffs

The Chicago Fire Academy U-16 and U-18 teams are ready to kick off group play of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy national playoffs, staged in Frisco, Texas and bringing together 32 of the nation's top teams across both age levels.
Below are the group stage schedules for both Chicago Fire Academy sides:
Wednesday, June 22
U-16s vs. Strikers FC (5 p.m. CT)
U-18s vs. Kendall SC (7:30 p.m. CT)
Friday, June 24
U-16s vs. IMG Academy (5 p.m. CT)
U-18s vs. Philadelphia Union (7:30 p.m. CT)
Sunday, June 26
U-16s vs. New York Red Bulls (5 p.m. CT)
U-18s vs. Beachside SC (7:30 p.m. CT)
The Chicago Fire Academy enters the tournament as the defending national champion at the U-18 level, the second national crown for the Fire after claiming the U-16 title in 2009-10.
