Chicago Bandits Present Taylor Swift Night, August 7

ROSEMONT -- Taylor Swift fans, it's not a fairy tale, come join the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch at 5:35 p.m. CT on Sunday, Aug. 7 for Taylor Swift Night at Rosemont Stadium.

The Bandits will do battle with the Akron Racers and fans in attendance have a chance to win a pair of tickets to Swift's sold out show on Tuesday, Aug. 9. at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Seats for the Taylor Swift concert are located in the Aramark Suite and some food will be included with the night out. Four tickets are available for fans to win either by raffle or by competing against each other in a battle of their vocal skills.

One pair of tickets will be given away to the lucky winner of the $2 raffle drawing. Raffle tickets for Taylor Swift will be sold at every game during the Akron Racers vs Chicago Bandits series, Aug. 4-7. The winner of the two raffled off tickets will be joined at the concert with two Bandits players.

Another pair of tickets will go to the winner of the in-game singing contest. Singers will sign up before the game and participants will be announced at the top of the second inning. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., a total of ten participants will be chosen to compete throughout the game.

A fan vote following the fifth inning will determine the winner of the singing contest. Bonus points will go to contestants that dress up as Taylor Swift.
