Madore, 24, recently completed his collegiate career as a four-year starter at the University of Vermont, where he compiled a record of 41-64-20 with a 2.91 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and five shutouts. The Pittsburgh, PA, native also appeared in 12 regular-season games with the Chicago Express and five playoff games with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL, posting a combined record of 10-6-1 with a 2.53 goals-against average, .918 save percentage and one shutout.

A member of the 2010-11 Hockey East All-Academic Team, he was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week on six separate occasions during his career.

Madore also played two seasons of junior hockey with the Chicago Steel of the USHL from 2006-2008, going 29-41-6 with a 3.33 goals against average, a .907 save percentage and two shutouts.
