
Charlotte Sting Sign 6'4 Center Tera Bjorklund

The Charlotte Sting announced today that they have signed 6'4 center Tera Bjorklund to a sevenâday contract. Per team policy, further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A rookie, Bjorklund spent time with both the Charlotte Sting and Los Angeles Sparks during training camp this past spring. In three preseason games with the Sting, Bjorklund contributed eight points, three rebounds and three blocks in 21 minutes. She was waived on May 19th, the final roster cut-down date before the regular season began.
A 2004 graduate of the University of Colorado, Bjorklund averaged 14.6 points and 5.2 rebounds over 127 games in four years. She was named All-Big 12 First Team following her junior and senior seasons and received honorable mention AP All-American honors in 2004.
