CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Independence welcomes Assistant Coach, Dave Carton and Goalkeeper and Assistant Coach, Bradley Johnson for the 2022 season.
The Charlotte Independence Soccer Club's Technical Director, Dave Carton, joins the USL League One team after serving as the Head Coach for the club's USL League Two team in 2021. He's been with the club for three years overseeing player development. Previously, Carton was the Executive Director for the Discoveries Soccer Club and a General Manager/Head Coach for the NC Carolina Discoveries.
Goalkeeper and Assistant Coach, Bradley Johnson comes to Charlotte from the Manhattan Soccer Club. During his time in New York, he was the Head Coach Staff for ages 8-18 and the Assistant Coach for the club's USL League Two team and the U23 College Program. Johnson helped lead his teams to a 2018 and 2019 New York Club League Soccer State Cup Championship.
