Charleston Battery Unveil 2024 Primary and Secondary Kits

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Battery are pleased to unveil Monday the club's 2024 Primary and Secondary Kits, featuring custom designs and produced by global sportswear leader hummel©. The uniforms take different approaches ahead of the Battery's 32nd season.
The Secondary Kit is set to be the first to debut in the Battery's season opener, on the road against North Carolina FC on Sat., March 9.
This year's Primary and Secondary kits take inspiration from previous eras of the Charleston Battery while also carving their place in the Battery's vaunted kit history.
The Primary Kit shares the same stripe layout as the 1999 season and similar stripe designs as the 2000 shirt. However, the collar arrangement, shoulder design and accent marks give the classic look a modern twist. The club's traditional red accent color also returns.
The Secondary Kit embarks on a unique path, one grounded in a marble-toned light grey color. The historic U.S. Customs House in downtown Charleston and the iconic Ravenel Bridge served as influences on the color choice. On top of this, the yellow stripes offer the traditional feel of a Battery shirt and are coupled with black and yellow accents.
Fans will notice a new front sponsor on the Secondary Kit in The Ideal Life, who expanded their partnership with the Battery ahead of the 2024 campaign. The Ideal Life also features on the sleeve of the Primary Kit.
The Volvo Spread Word Mark returns to the front of the Primary Kit for the third year in a row. All match kits include the Battery's longtime partner, MUSC Health, on the back, below the name set.
Both jerseys are currently available for purchase at shop.charlestonbattery.com, giving supporters plenty of time to secure their favorite shirt prior to the Battery's home opener on March 23 against New Mexico United.
