Charleston Battery Summer Camps

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery has set dates for its 2009 summer soccer camps. Once again the Battery will offer six weeks of camp at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island with the first week starting June 8. In addition to training at the stadium, campers also get to enjoy lunch daily in the Three Lions Club and all campers are invited back to a Camp Graduation party at a Charleston Battery game on August 28.

Under the overall direction of Charleston Battery head coach Mike Anhaeuser; summer Camp and Academy coaches include current and former Charleston Battery players; all camps have a staff to camper ratio of 1:12. Charleston Battery summer Soccer Camps are held at the Charleston Battery Soccer Complex on Daniel Island, SC. The heart of this complex is Blackbaud Stadium, twice voted by U.S. Soccer as one of the best soccer stadiums in the U.S.

Charleston Battery Day Camp

The Charleston Battery Day Camp is offered as a week-long camp for boys and girls ages 5-13. The Camp is designed to develop the fundamental techniques of soccer in a fun, learning environment. Campers can attend half-day (9 AM -12 PM) or full day (9 AM - 4 PM); a full-time certified Athletic Trainer will be on site throughout the camp.

In the event of rain campers will participate in covered activities at Blackbaud Stadium and inside the Three Lions Club. Camp is held daily rain or shine. Camps have a maximum enrollment of 100 campers and provide a staff-to-camper ratio of 1:12.

Cost: $250 full day (9 AM -4 PM)

$150 half day (9 AM -12 PM)

Includes: Camp T-shirt, lunch (full day only), Charleston Battery game ticket, ball person opportunity.

Battery Day Camp Dates:

June 8-12 / June 15-19 / June 22-26 / July 13-17 / July 20-24 / July 27-31

Charleston Battery James Island Camp

June 15 - 19

Boys and girls ages 5 - 13 (9 AM -12 PM)

Cost $150

Charleston Battery Academy

Now in its tenth year, the Charleston Battery Academy is aimed toward dedicated soccer players ages 7-14 looking for an extended summer program. Academy Staff will be comprised entirely of current Charleston Battery players & Coaches. All Charleston Battery Academy sessions are held at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island.

Academy Dates:

June 1 - August 3 (Monday's) (6 -8 PM)

Cost: $250

Includes: Charleston Battery training uniform (jersey & shorts), Charleston Battery game ticket and ball person opportunity.

2009 Season Tickets

2009 Charleston Battery season ticket packages are on sale now; packages include reserved seating for all 15 regular season games and start at only $150. There are a limited number of Three Lions Club memberships available; TLC membership includes preferred seating, tickets to all regular season, US Open Cup and post-season games, complimentary parking and a catered pre-match buffet.
