Charleston Battery News Release
The Battery lost 0-1 to the Carolina Railhawks on Saturday night in a game played in Cary, NC. The RailHawks scored from the penalty spot in the 39th minute.
Atlanta split a series of games last weekend, winning 3-2 in Puerto Rico then losing 2-1 in Miami.
The Battery has not defeated Atlanta since Memorial Day weekend 2005.
Forward's Ian Fuller and Jordan Hughes resumed full training this week and will be available for selection Saturday night.
This is the Battery's last home game until June 7. Next week the Battery heads to San Francisco for a Wednesday evening game followed by a Saturday night fixture versus the Minnesota Thunder in St. Paul, MN.

Friday evening the Charleston Battery players will join Brooke from 95SX at Red's Ice House, Shem Creek, Mt Pleasant from 6 - 7 PM

SPOT THE BALL
The Charleston Battery has teamed up with Post and Courier and Sticky Fingers to give Battery fan's a chance to Spot the Ball. Look for the weekly ad in the Post and Courier (Friday / Saturday Sports) that features a Battery photo with the soccer ball removed. Fan's then clip the ad; mark an X where they think the ball goes and drop the entry off at the fan appreciation table Saturday Night. The most accurate guess each week receives dinner for 4 at Sticky Fingers, plus at the end of the season one correct winner will win a night in the Charleston Battery Owners Box.
