Charles Landry Joins NHL Ranks

Montreal, September 16th 2010 - It was announced this morning that Montreal Junior defenseman Charles Landry has been signed to the Tampa Bay Lightning, following a very successful week at the NHL team's training camp.

"We are very proud of Charles for his performance at Tampa's training camp," said General Manager and Head Coach, Pascal Vincent. "We knew he had it in him to go far, and we are going to make sure that his time here in Montreal will be preparing him for a successful future career in the NHL".

The 19 year old Napierville native will be returning to Montreal today, in time to play the Juniors' two away games this weekend in Rimouski tomorrow night, as well as in Drummondville this coming Sunday. The team plays it's next home game on Friday, September 24th at 7:05pm at the Verdun Auditorium against the Saint-John Seadogs.
