Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release
PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons, proud members of the North American Hockey League, will offer local non-profit organizations a fundraising opportunity through the "Charity Connections" program.
The program gives non-profits the chance sell Attack Zone tickets to a Fighting Falcons home game, recouping $2 from each $8 ticket sold. Organizations must sell at least 50 tickets to receive a charity connections check.
As an added bonus, if a non-profit organization provides four or more people to sell Chuck-a-Pucks during their game night, they will receive 50% of the proceeds from the promotion. This will be done on a first come-first served basis, as only one organization can participate in the Chuck-a-Puck promotion per game.
"One of the most important goals of the Fighting Falcons is to make a positive impact in our community, and the Charity Connections program is one of the best ways we can do so," said Dave Goetze, the Fighting Falcons' VP/Business Manager. "Local non-profits have really responded to similar programs in the past, and with our low ticket prices I think this is a great fundraising program."
For more information about the "Charity Connections" program, or to request an application to participate, contact Whitney or Mike at (810) 966-3800.
The Fighting Falcons will play the first home game of their inaugural campaign Friday, October 1 against the Chicago Hitmen. Season ticket packages start at just $162 and are available now at the McMorran Arena Box Office or by phone at (810) 966-3800.
