GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Cleveland Charge (4-0) won their fourth consecutive game to start the season with a 121-106 road victory at the Van Andel Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Sharife Cooper scored 20 of his game-high 31 points in the second half to go along with four assists in 33 minutes. Sam Merrill also had a strong second half, scoring 19 points in the third & fourth quarters and finishing with 31 points on just 7-of-12 shooting and 5-of-9 from three-point range. Jamorko Pickett posted his fourth double-double in as many games, scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 boards with three blocks in 36 minutes.

Grand Rapids was led by 28 points and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes from Peyton Watson. Jack White added a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds in 40 minutes for the Gold. Jared Butler scored 22 points in 28 minutes for the hosts.

The Charge's Nate Hinton had an all-around game of 20 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 33 minutes. Chandler Vaudrin added 11 points, seven assists and four boards in 28 minutes off the bench. Cleveland took the lead for good after a Pickett dunk made the score 12-11 with 6:01 left in the first quarter. Both Charge Two-Way Players are with the Cavaliers for their game tonight in Cleveland.
