GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Cleveland Charge (15-18) led for the entire second half on the way to a 105-86 victory over the Grand Rapids Gold (11-22) at the Van Andel Arena on Thursday night.
Sharife Cooper had his third consecutive game with a double-double by scoring 15 points and dishing 10 assists in 32 minutes. Tonight Cooper surpassed Scoochie Smith to become the new single season assists leader in Charge franchise history. Isaiah Mobley scored 21 points and grabbed six boards in 30 minutes. Zhaire Smith scored 19 points, while Dexter Dennis added 13 points and four steals. Pete Nance scored 14 points, grabbed eight boards and swatted three blocks in 34 minutes as the Charge swept the season series between the two teams.
Former Charge G Jamorko Pickett led Grand Rapids with a game-high 25 points with five assists and two steals in 43 minutes. Au'Diese Toney scored 20 points and grabbed nine boards in 40 minutes for the Gold.
