Charge & YMCA of Central Stark County Strengthen Partnership

CANTON, OH - The Canton Charge, powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, are excited to announce an extension of their partnership with the YMCA of Central Stark County. New for the 2019-2020 season, the Jr. Charge Program will host a youth league in YMCAs throughout Central Stark County that will provide kids of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn how to win both on and off the court.

"This extension of the Jr. Charge Program with the YMCA will be a huge asset in making a better impact with the youth in our Stark County community," Charge SVP/COO Mike Levy said. "Now in addition to skills clinics, teams in our area will have even more resources to use the game of basketball to learn and grow."

Participating teams will be outfitted in a YMCA/Charge co-branded uniform plus player benefits include a library of exclusive instructional videos, access to Charge game tickets, select Cavs Youth discounts and more! Coaches will additionally have access to the Jr. Charge digital coaches manual and private instructional toolkit online as well as an invitation to the annual Cleveland Cavaliers Coaches Clinic.

Jr. Charge basketball leagues will begin play this fall at participating YMCA of Central Stark County locations, while Jr. Cavs leagues are also available at participating area YMCA locations.
