Laredo Broncos News Release


June 20, 2008-Laredo, TX- The Laredo Broncos of the United League announce that tonight's game against the Amarillo Dillas have been postponed due to travel issues. The Dillas bus broke down on the highway, and they will not make it in time for the game tonight.

On Saturday, the teams will play a double header consisting of 2 7 inning games. The first game of the doubleheader will start at 6:30 pm. finish up the suspended game from June 7th in Amarillo starting at 7 pm. The regularly schedule game that day will then take place after the completion of the first game. The 2nd game will be a 7 inning game. Saturday, will still be Laredo Federal Credit Union Night at Veterans Field. You will have a chance to win a free used car if you enter the ballpark.

On Sunday, The Broncos and Dillas will finish up the suspended game from June 7th in Amarillo starting at 7 pm. The regularly schedule game that day will then take place after the completion of the first game. The 2nd game will be a 7 inning game. . Since, tonight's game is called off, Sunday will be AEP Texas and KGNS Logo Baseball Night at Veterans Field.

If you had tickets for tonight's ballgame, they will be good for either game on Saturday or Sunday.

The Laredo Broncos start there third season in 2008. The Broncos will play a 90 game season from May to September with 46 home games at Veterans Field.
