South Carolina Stingrays News Release

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays are #BACK4MORE and are just one win from advancing to the Kelly Cup Finals for a second straight season. Leading 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals series with the Wheeling Nailers, the Stingrays are back home for Game 6, and are looking to win the series on home ice. Game 6 is TOMORROW, Monday, May 23 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets start at just $13 at the North Charleston Coliseum Box Office. The game features a Stingrays Happy Hour from 6-8 p.m. with $2 beers, plus $2 hot dogs all game long!

After two wins in Wheeling, the Stingrays can close out the Eastern Conference Finals series in front of the Lowcountry crowd. Loud, energetic crowds at the North Charleston Coliseum have created a home ice advantage that has been a large part of the Stingrays' success this season. The club won 21 games at home in the regular season, in addition to earning six playoff wins so far at the North Charleston Coliseum.

If a chance to advance to the Kelly Cup Finals isn't enough, fans may also enjoy $2 beer specials as part of Stingrays Happy Hour from 6-8 p.m. Additionally, hot dogs are just $2 all night long! Please note, there will be a limit of two hot dogs per visit to the concession stand in order to keep the lines moving efficiently.

Individual tickets are on sale at the North Charleston Coliseum Box office, or online via Ticketmaster.com. Fans who bring a group of 10 or more to the game may call 843-744-2248 to receive a special group rate.

If necessary, Game 7 would be Tuesday, May 24 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The puck would drop at 7:05 p.m. and the game would also feature $2 specials.

The winner of the Wheeling/South Carolina series will advance to the Kelly Cup Finals, where they would battle the Allen Americans who claimed the Western Conference Championship with a 4-1 series win over the Fort Wayne Komets. The Stingrays and Americans met in the Kelly Cup Finals last season, with the Americans taking the series in seven games.
