ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rowdies slipped to a third defeat of the season Saturday night, falling 1-0 to Birmingham Legion FC and into second place.

Tampa Bay Rowdies - 0
Legion FC's Eddie Opoku scored the only goal of the match in the 49th minute as the Rowdies were kept off the scoresheet entirely. Macklin Robinson made seven saves to keep the Rowdies in it.
New York Red Bulls II - 5
Hartford Athletic - 1
New York trailed in the second half until a bizarre double red card to two of Hartford's defenders changed the match drastically. The Red Bulls now sit atop the East.
Bethlehem Steel FC - 0
Nashville SC - 0
Both teams made halftime substitutions but neither team found a way to score as they split the points in Nashville.
