Championship Banner Unveiled and More this Weekend
October 2, 2014 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Topeka Pilots News Release
The RoadRunners won the 2013-2014 South Division Playoffs in a thrilling five-game series against the Amarillo Bulls last April. To celebrate, we will be unveiling the Championship Banner in a pregame ceremony this Saturday night before the Runners and the Bulls battle it out at 7:05pm. Early arriving fans will also be treated to free South Division Championship pucks thanks to our sponsor The National Guard.
October is also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In acknowledgement of the ongoing fight against this dreaded disease, the RoadRunners will be wearing special pink jerseys during every home game this month (Oct. 3-4, Oct. 11-12). They will hold a silent auction for each game worn jersey starting this Friday and ending on Oct. 12th. Tickets are still available for this weekend's games and parking will be free.
