Club de Foot Montreal News Release
CARSON, California - CF Montréal (9-6-2) will face the LA Galaxy (7-6-3) this Monday at 10:30pm EDT at Dignity Health Sports Park (TVA Sports, TSN, 91.9 Sports, TSN 690).
With its fourth road win of the season earned on Wednesday in Seattle, which tied a Club record, CF Montréal sits atop the Eastern Conference. Only LAFC, with 36 points and 11 wins, boasts a higher ranking in the Supporters' Shield race. Montreal leads the conference with 32 goals scored so far this season.
Since 2012, Montreal has a 1-4-3 overall record against the California club. In four meetings at Dignity Health Sports Park, the visitors have never managed a win, losing three times. Montreal's only road point at the venue came in a 0-0 draw in 2015.
Against the Galaxy, Kei Karama has tallied two goals and two assists, while Romell Quioto has two goals and one assist.
Sixth in the Western Conference, the LA Galaxy will look to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Minnesota United FC on Wednesday. The Galaxy has lost two straight home games only once this season. It occurred in May against FC Dallas (1-3) and Houston Dynamo FC (0-3).
