WILFRIED NANCY
"Things worked in our favor today. The players found a way. We faced a quality team, but the players were resilient. Atlanta has a lot of quality. When facing a team like that, we tried to find solutions, especially in the second half. Despite the quality of the opponent, we tried to get into their half and create something. The goal came from there. We knew we could score goals against this team."
KAMAL MILLER
"Atlanta is one of the better teams in possession. They are usually on top of the game. To beat this team, you have to defend well for 90 minutes. Their possession doesn't matter too much. We handled it well when they had the ball and we're in a good spot now. The whole year we've been playing a good brand of soccer and hurting teams. But the results weren't there early. Things are falling into place now and we're getting good bounces. The vibes are good in the locker room. We're believing in ourselves and taking advantage of the hot streak. Were finally getting over the slow start. We are defending with more urgency. Everyone is communicating and buying into defending as a team."
DJORDJE MIHAILOVIC
"Everyone was worried at the start of the season. We were playing in two competitions and having games every three days. Once we got into a rhythm, we were good. But we have to keep going. We can't settle. We have an opportunity in the next few weeks to get on top of the table in the East. We must stay grounded, focused and show up to training with the right mindset."
