
Central Valley Fuego FC Announces New Academy Signee

FRESNO, CA - Central Valley Fuego FC is thrilled to announce the signing of Maximus Ekk to an academy contract. From Hanford, California, Maximus, a 17-year-old prodigy, is set to graduate from Sierra Pacific High School in 2024. Known for his exceptional skills as an attacking midfielder, Maximus has been an integral part of the Cal Odyssey Soccer Club.
Maximus's exceptional talent has made him a standout player in the "hybrid" Academy model team, a testament to the dedicated efforts of his previous coaches, including renowned local coach Garret Markarian from Fresno.
Expressing his excitement, Adam Smith, Fuego Sporting Director, emphasized the team's commitment to furthering Maximus's development. "It is now my job and the Fuego first team staff to build on his current level of play and help him learn what it is truly about to become a top player," said Smith. Acknowledging the challenges ahead, he added, "There is much work ahead for Fuego and Max, but the future shines bright for both."
Central Valley Fuego FC looks forward to Maximus's contributions to the Fuego FC Academy Team as well as the opportunity to train and play with the First Team. The Club is dedicated to supporting his growth as he embarks on this exciting chapter of his soccer career.
