
Central Valley Fuego FC and Forward Madison FC Agree to Transfer for Ozzie Ramos

FRESNO, CA - Central Valley Fuego FC announced today that an agreement has been reached with Forward Madison FC for the transfer of midfielder Ozzie Ramos for the remainder of the 2023 season. This transfer is pending league and federation approval.
In exchange for the transfer of Ozzie Ramos, Central Valley Fuego FC will receive an international roster spot for the 2024 season from Forward Madison FC.
Originally from Ceres, California, Ozzie Ramos has deep roots in the Central Valley area, where he honed his soccer skills during his high school years. Ramos boasts an impressive high school record, amassing 55 goals and 47 assists. His outstanding performance on the field led to several accolades, including Conference MVP, All-District MVP for Stanislaus County, and Team MVP for two consecutive seasons.
Following his standout high school career, Ozzie Ramos continued to excel in collegiate soccer, playing for San Diego State University and Seattle University. His dedication and talent eventually paved the way for a professional debut with San Diego 1904 FC of the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) in 2019. Over the years, Ramos showcased his skills while playing for various clubs, culminating in his signing with Central Valley Fuego FC in 2022.
In the current 2023 season, Ozzie Ramos has made 22 appearances for Central Valley Fuego FC, establishing himself as an integral part of the team's midfield. His exceptional playmaking abilities and versatility on the field have not gone unnoticed.
With this transfer, Ozzie Ramos will join Forward Madison FC, where he will contribute to their pursuit of a playoff spot in the 2023 USL League One playoffs.
