Central Valley Dawgs News Release
Fresno, CA - Randy Holcomb scores a game high 37 points as the Central Valley Dawgs rally to a 125-118 win against the Fresno Heatwave. Shamel Stallworth was the second leading scorer with 36 points, and Shannon Swillis got another double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Derek Foster, out of Fresno Christian College, was a standout with 28 points and hitting a crucial 4 point 3-D to give the Dawgs an 8 point lead in the fourth quarter.
"The Dawgs played hard and we had some great shooting. The addition of Holcomb made allowed our team to get great shots from the inside and the perimeter, because he caused a double team," says Central Valley Dawgs coach Cody Cessleman.
The Dawgs play on the road Friday against the L.A. Stars.
